Biology. M. teliformis was collected from the follower of Agropyron repens (L.)Beauv., the seeds of Agropyron cristatum (L.) and Agropyron junceiforme A. Löve & D. Löve ( Rosen, 1960; Graham, 1969). Our species from Ningxia was recorded collected from Tamarix ramosissima Ledeb , one female from Xingjiang was recorded parasite on armored scale.

Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia, Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Gansu, Xinjiang, Hunan, Sichuan, Fujian, Yunnan, Tibet); Palearctic Region ( Noyes, 2014).
