Type locality. WC, Cape Peninsula, Table Mts, Echo Valley, bank of stream at roots of sedges.
Remarks. Pickford (1937: 302) under the heading “ Parachilota paishi ” gives a short key to two subspecies P. paishi paishi and P. paishi cerensis , based on distinctions in the length of penial setae. In this checklist the subspecies are accepted, although further evaluation of the taxonomic characters is suggested.
