Type locality. RSA, EC: Hogsback.
Distribution. Type locality only, the coastal mountain range, Amatola foothils, at eastern foothills of Drakensberg, in proximity of Parachilota hogsbacki site.
Remarks. Holotype NMSA/Olig.03825. Paratypes NMSA/Olig.03823–24. After examination of species description and type material it became clear that the acanthodriline characters (two pairs of prostates with their pores in 17 and 19, male pores in 18, and spermathecae in segments 8 and 9) indicate that the species belongs to genus Parachilota .
