Type locality. WC, Deep Walls Research Hill, Knysna Forest, nursery beds.
Distribution. Known from the coastal belt in south-eastern WC, near Knysna Forest (Research Hill, forest and Buffels Nek, field with low bush, ploughed for the plantation). Zicsi (1998) reported it from Storms River, forest in EC. Remarks. Type BMNH 1938.7.1.1093. Other material: BMNH 1938.7.1.1094–1101; HNHM AF/2537; AF/ 2539; NMSA/Olig.01259.
