Type locality. EC, Witte Els Bosch, Humansdorp area, eastern end of the Tsitsikamma Forest, bank of stream.

Distribution. Reported from close vicinity to the other subspecies, in WC and in EC neighbouring areas of the coastal-belt: Witte Els Bosch Mountain at south slope near stream; ‘kloof’ below Damant's Farm, near stream; corner of Tsitsikamma forest; Storms River, forest.

Remarks. Paratypes BMNH 1938.7.1.1103–1110. Other material BMNH 1938.7.1.1111–1137 (numerous specimens and various notes); HNHM AF/2546.
