Identification. Plants pale green. Leaves alternate, distant to subimbricate, symmetrical, bifid 1/5‒1/4 lobe length, with a broad acuminate, rounded sinus, acuminate lobes, uniseriate tips 3‒6 cells long, margin entire; median cells isodiametric, thin walled, trigones small, cuticle smooth. Underleaves distant, 1‒2 × stem width, bifid near the base, with a short or long tooth on outer margin.
