Specimens examined: São Carlos: P. guavaja , VII­2001 (2). Pirassununga: P. guajava , V­ 2000 (8), IV­2001 (4), VII­2001 (12).

Associated phytophagous mites: Abacarus sp. and O. psidii on P. guajava .

Previous records: Brazil — Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo; Colombia; Puerto Rico and Trinidad.

Remarks: The measurements of 5 adult females collected are similar to those given in the original description.
