TD: holotype, male , ZMHU.
Distribution in India: Sikkim, Meghalaya (Khasis)( Hampson 1892);Himalaya ( Zolotuhin 1992); Manipur ( Irungbam et al. 2020). Global records: Nepal, Bhutan, southern China, Myanmar ( Hauenstein et al. 2011).
Remark: The species spelling and the year was erroreously mentioned as Baodera kashiana (Moore, 1867) rather than B. khasiana (Moore, 1879) by Kishida (1995).
