TD: holotype, male , MWM.
Distribution in India: North-eastern India ( Zolotuhin & Sinyaev 2011). Global records: Southern China, Myanmar, Thailand, southern Vietnam ( Zolotuhin & Sinyaev 2011).
Remark: the nominate subspecies, Arguda insulindiana de Lajonquière, 1977 is known from Borneo, Sumatra and Malaysia.
