Mycetoporus punctus View in CoL ist von Westeuropa ( Irland, Grossbritannien, Frankreich) zumindest bis ins Baikalgebiet verbreitet und meist häufig. Aus Spanien lag bisher keine Meldung vor, auch aus Albanien und Armenien existierten keine konkreten Angaben ( HERMAN 2001, SMETANA 2004).
