Ischnosoma loebli wurde erst 1997 aus Israel, der Türkei und Zypern beschrieben ( KOCIAN 1997). Die Art ersetzt I. longicorne MÄKLIN 1847 im Osten der Mediterraneis. Weitere Funde aus dem Südosten der Türkei werden bei ( SCHÜLKE 2007) gemeldet. Neu für Jordanien!
