Dirrhagofarsus lewisi (Fleutiaux, 1900)

This apparently uncommon eucnemid species was found in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin ( Otto 2022b). New state records are reported here for four new states: Iowa, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee One specimen was taken from a panel trap placed in a preserve in Iowa. One specimen was taken from a Malaise trap placed in Kentucky. One specimen was taken from a UV light trap in Tennessee.
