This widespread, rarely encountered eucnemid species was previously known from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia ( Otto 2022b). It is recorded here for the first time as new state records for Kentucky and South Carolina. Two specimens were taken from Malaise traps placed in Kentucky. One specimen was taken from a U.V. light trap in South Carolina. KENTUCKY: USA: Kentucky: Madison Co. / Berea , Coll. For.
