Distribution in Türkiye: Dalaman and Büyük Menderes river drainages. ― Distribution in river basins: 7-Büyük Menderes, 8-Batı Akdeniz. ― General distribution: Asia Minor: lower Dalaman and Büyük Menderes River drainages, Aegean Sea basin ( Türkiye). ― Distribution in ecoregions: 429-Western Anatolia. ― Habitat: This species is found in streams, rivers, and lakes with moderate to slow currents. Freshwater.
