Geographic distribution. Mexico ( Walker 1873), Guatemala ( Todd 1957), Panama (Champion 1901), Colombia ( Walker 1873), Venezuela ( Melin 1929), Suriname ( Stål, 1868), French Guiana ( Melin 1929), Brazil ( Stål, 1868), Ecuador ( Walker 1873), Peru ( Nieser & Chen 1992), Paraguay ( Montandon 1895), Argentina ( Berg 1879) .
Distribution in Peru. Loreto, Huánuco ( Nieser & Chen 1992).
Notes. This species was confused with N. nepaeformis (Fabricius, 1775) in the 19 th century ( Todd 1955).
