(n. sp.).

This species was described from the Talysh Mountains of Azerbaijan. The figures of the male genitalia provided by Putshkov (1978) confirm its placement in Plagiognathus . I have examined, but not dissected, two paratypes, which have a uniform orange coloration devoid of dark markings ; the tibial spines also lack black spots at bases.
