( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 B, 5E–G, 10B, 10C, 13C, 13D, 19)

Leucophenga digmasoma Lin & Wheeler, 1972: 244 View in CoL ; Okada, 1990: 681.

Diagnosis. Paramere with a few serrations meidodorsally ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 C); aedeagus expanded submedially, narrowed distally ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 D). This species is similar to L. hirticeps sp. nov. in the shaped of male terminalia (see lower that species).

Description. Ocellar triangle brown, with 2–4 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere brownish. Clypeus brownish yellow medially, dark brown laterally. Palpus brownish. Mesonotum yellowish brown to dark brown, sometimes with unapparent and diffuse longitudinal stripe medially ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E, F). Postpronotal lobe brownish yellow to brownish ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 G). Acrostichal setulae in 14–16 irregular rows ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E, F). Scutellum brown to dark brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 E, F). Pleura brown above ( Fig 5 View FIGURE 5 G). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish yellow ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 G). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 B): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 5–8 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Halter brown apically ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 F). Abdominal tergites nearly black, laterally with unapparent patches in male ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 B), with distinct yellow patches in female ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 C). Male terminalia: Epandrium with 7 setae and sparse pubescence near posterior margin per side ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 A). Paramere with 1 sensillum subdorsally and 6 sensilla distally ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 C). Aedeagus with pubescence distally ( Fig. 19 View FIGURE 19 D).
