( Figs 2 View FIGURE 2 H, 6I, 6J, 10I, 10J, 14C, 14D, 24)

Drosophila quadripunctata View in CoL de Meijere, 1908: 154; Okada, 1990: 683.

Diagnosis. Wing R2+3 vein with a short branch subapically ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 H); paramere deeply concave mediodorsally ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 C). This species is similar to L. cornuta sp. nov. in the wing R2+3 vein with a short branch subapically (see lower that species).

Description. Ocellar triangle brown, with 3–7 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brown. Palpus brownish yellow. Mesonotum nearly yellowish brown, slightly brown before scutellum ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 I). Postpronotal lobe yellow ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 J). Acrostichal setulae in 13–15 irregular rows ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 I). Scutellum yellowish brown, dark brown at tip and pale around apical scutellar setae ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 I). Pleura with an unapparent, yellowish brown, longitudinal stripe above ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 J). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 J). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 H): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 5–8 peglike spinules on ventral surface. Halter slightly brownish apically ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 J). Abdominal tergites brown to black, with yellow patches ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 I, J). Male terminalia: Epandrium with pubescence near posterior and ventral margins and 6 setae near posterior margin per side ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 A). Paramere with pubescence and 4 sensilla subapically ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 C). Aedeagus pubescent apically ( Fig. 24 View FIGURE 24 D).
