Diagnosis. Abdominal 3rd to 6th tergites dark brown, with small yellow patches sublaterally ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 C); paramere dorsad expanded medially ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 C); aedeagus thick on basal 2/3, slender on distal 1/3 ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 D).

Description. Ocellar triangle yellowish brown, with 4 setae above ocellar setae. Frons yellowish brown to brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus yellowish brown. Palpus brownish yellow. Mesonotum yellowish brown, slightly brown before scutellum ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 I). Postpronotal lobe brownish yellow ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 J). Acrostichal setulae in 11–13 irregular rows ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 I). Scutellum yellowish brown, black at tip and pale around apical scutellar setae ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 I). Pleura slightly brown above ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 J). Katepisternum and mesopleuron mostly brownish yellow; mesopleuron with a brownish patch ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 J). Wing ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 C): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 6 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Halter slightly brownish apically ( Fig. 7 View FIGURE 7 I). Male terminalia: Epandrium pubescent submedially, with 16 setae near posterior and ventral margins per side ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 A). Paramere nearly triangular, lacking pubescence, with 4 sensilla submedially ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 C). Aedeagus pubescent on distal 2/3 ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 D).

Measurements. BL = 3.67 mm in holotype, THL = 1.93 mm, WL = 3.33 mm, WW = 1.48 mm, arb = 7/3, avd = 0.88, adf = 1.88, flw = 1.88, FW/HW = 0.42, ch/o = 0.05, prorb = 0.62, rcorb = 0.54, vb = 0.42, dcl = 0.44, presctl = 0.58, sctl = 1.35, sterno = 0.83, orbito = 2.18, dcp = 0.26, sctlp = 0.97, C = 1.93, 4c = 1.63, 4v = 2.26, 5x = 1.17, ac = 3.00, M = 0.60, C3F = 0.98.

Type specimens. Holotype ♂ ( SCAU, No. 123137), CHINA: Maoershan, Guilin, Guangxi, 700 m, 18.x.2004, ex tree trunk, HW Chen.

Distribution. China (Guangxi).

Etymology. A combination of the Latin words “ angustus ” (= narrow) + “ foliaceus ” (= folium), referring to the aedeagus narrowed distally.
