Distribution in Brazil: AM, MT!, MG, SP.

Biological aspects: Representatives of this species have been collected on a 1st order environment upstream of a waterfall on a preserved stream with direct incidence of light. The marginal vegetation is composed by native grass and few bushes, typical of the Cerrado.

Comments: This species is distributed from Canada to Argentina , but very few collections have been made on tropical areas. In Brazil, it was previously known from the North and Southeast, being herein recorded for the first time from the Central-West ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 ).
