Distribution: WEST PALAEARCTIC (Kasparek 2015, Ascher & Pickering 2021, Kuhlmann et al. 2021).

This species was only reported by Grace (2010) under the synonym Stelis genalis Pasteels, 1969 , Kasparek (2015) does not report it from Lebanon. This species listing is yet to be confirmed.

Literature. Grace (2010) reports it from Lebanon only, without date or locality details.
