Remarks. This species can easily be confused with Farrodes tepui Domínguez, Molineri & Peters 1996 , and the main features to differentiate them are highly variable, such as the pigmentation on abdomen and forceps (abdominal segments with broad whitish marks and segment I of the forceps greyish-brown on F. xingu versus abdominal segments with small whitish marks and proximal 1/2 of segment I of the forceps yellowish-brown, distal 1/2 yellowish-white on F. tepui ). It is one of the species with the greatest spatial distribution in the state, being found in eight sampled sites located in areas with Amazon and Cerrado influences.
