TYPE LOCALITY: Algeria, C Sahara, Ahaggar .
DISTRIBUTION: Ahaggar Mtns (S Algeria).
COMMENTS: Bothma (1971), Hatt (1936), and Schwarz (1933b) stated that this species may be conspecific with brucei , and was so placed by Roche (1972:41).
