Diagnosis. Gena and mesopleuron more or less smooth, distinctly punctate ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 43–49 ). Clypeus large, lenticular. Malar space 0.7–0.9× as long as basal mandibular width ( Fig. 44 View FIGURES 43–49 ).Antennal flagellum tapered towards apex. Propodeal spiracle moderately large, separated from pleural carina by 1.5–2.0× diameter of spiracle ( Figs 44, 45 View FIGURES 43–49 ). First tergite smooth laterally and dorsally ( Figs 44, 46 View FIGURES 43–49 ); postpetiole in dorsal view much wider than petiole; glymma large, joining by distinct furrow to ventral part of postpetiole ( Figs 44, 46 View FIGURES 43–49 ). Remarks. Female from Kumakogen, Ehime Pref. possesses abnormal first metasomal tergite which is abruptly curved posteriorly in lateral view ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 43–49 ) and has a pair of strong spiracular prominences ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 43–49 ). Another female from Ehime Pref. bears a parasitic larva of a mite belonging to Parasitengona (Acariformes: Trombidiformes) on dorsolateral side of the fifth tergite ( Figs 43, 49 View FIGURES 43–49 ).
