Poeciloptilia pollutella: Herrich-Schäffer (1855: 302, 313).
Subgenus: Aphelosetia ; bedellella species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mongolia, Russia (European part, Altai), Slovakia, Switzerland, Ukraine.
Larval host plant(s): Elymus hispidus (Opiz) Melderis (Poaceae) ( Szöcs 1968, 1971).
