Records associated with mangroves: Okukubi River , Kin Town, Okinawa Island, Japan, bark of Bruguiera gymnorrhiza and algae from mangrove forest floor ( Karasawa & Aoki 2005)

Records from other habitats: Starling Inlet, Hong Kong, red algae in rock crevices and unicellular green algae at high water mark ( Luxton 1992).

Distribution: Hong Kong, Japan.
