Eye bridge with 4 rows of facets. Prefrons with 14–17 setae. Clypeus with 1–2 setae. Palpus three-segmented, basal segment with 11 setae, with a black spot on its apex; 2nd segment with 17 setae; 3rd segment with 11 setae. Length/width of 4th flagellomere: 3.10–3.20. Thorax. Anterior pronotum with 7–8 setae, episternum 1 with 7–8 setae. Wings ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 B). Wing length 3.99 mm, width/length: 0.34. c/w: 0.40. R1/R: 0.81. Y/X: 1.50. Y with 10 setae, stM with 5 setae, M and Cu with numerous setae. Legs. Fore tibia with a comb of 7 setae ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 E). Length of spur/width of foretibia 1.59. Length of femur/ length of metatarsus: foreleg 0.76–0.82. Length of metatarsus/length of tibia: foreleg 0.74–0.81, hind leg 0.63. Length of hind tibia/length of thorax 1.93–2.35. Fore tibia with 1 dorsal, 9–11 ventral, 18–22 prolateral and 12–16 retrolateral spinose setae. Tarsal claws with small teeth. Hypopygium ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A, B). Gonocoxite slightly longer than gonostylus. Ventral setosity of gonocoxite dense, 3 setae at the apicoventral corner greatly elongated, setosity sparse on intercoxal area of hypopygium. Gonostylus slender, with slightly inflated apex, with the mesial side impressed; the setosity dense, apically with short and thin setae, with 5–6 slender megasetae located apicomesially. Tegmen wider than long. Sternite 10 with 1 seta on each half. N = 2 for all measurements.

Distribution. China (Yunnan, Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 ).

Remarks. The gonostylus of this species is unique by its slightly rather broad apex bearing short and thin setae, and having an impression with 5–6 slender megasetae located mesially. Moreover, this species has a black spot on the basal segment of the palpus ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 C).

Etymology. This species is named after its slender megasetae on the gonostylus, from the Latin adjective gracilentus, meaning slender.
