Leptopterna ferrugata (Fallén, 1807)

Listed from East Azarbaijan by Khaghaninia et al. (2010b, 2011). Its presence in Iran on peppermint and alfalfa ( Khaghaninia et al. 2011) should be verified by an analysis of the East Azarbaijan specimens studied by Khaghaninia et al. (op. cit.) ( Aukema et al. 2013).

General distribution. European species, known from the Asian part of Turkey and from North America: Alaska, Yukon and Northwest Territories ( Scudder & Schwartz 2001).
