Previous records. described and rediscovered around South Georgia, ( Zimmer, 1909; Ledoyer, 1974), Kerguelen ( Ledoyer, 1977, without depth data), Argentina and Magellan Strait ( Petrescu, 1994, 107– 5781 m); Ross Sea as L. cf. sagitta ( Rehm et al., 2007, 196– 458 m); Prydz Bay several stations (unpublished data).

Diagnosis. Thoracic segments much longer than abdomen; antennal notch large and wide; ocular lobe small, triangular; dorsomedian serration reaching half to 2/3 of the carapace with 7–12 teeth; pseudorostral lobes not very long, directing slightly upwards.

New records. ZMH material: Leucon (C.) sagitta : with teeth on frontal lobe and lateral on carapace close to frontal lobe, dorsomedian line with teeth restricted to anterior 2/3 part, pseudorostral lobes not very long.
