Type material. Holotype, ♂, Linzhi, Tibet, 3. July. 2012, coll. Maofa Yang.
Length: ♂ 4.7mm.
Body yellowish ( Fig 26 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Ocellus circled with off-white streak ( Fig 28 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Coronal suture not reaching anterior margin of crown, with white stripe along suture ( Fig 26 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Face yellowish, clypeus with a median off-white streak ( Fig 27 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Pronotum with yellowish irregular spot at anterior margin, posterior margin semitransparent ( Fig 26 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Scutellum yellowish ( Fig 26 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Forewing yellowish-white, semitransparent; hindwing hyaline ( Fig 26 View FIGURES 26 – 28 ). Abdomen yellowish. Legs yellowish except claws brown.
Male ventral abdominal apodemes reaching segment 5 ( Fig 30 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Male pygofer with setae, infuscated, ventral pygofer appendage curved, apex truncate, distinctly serrate in dorsal view; dorsal bridge nearly 1/3 length of pygofer, lateral lobes well developed ( Figs 29, 31 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Subgenital plate extended beyond pygofer, with 2 rows of 20 macrosetae, 3 rows of ca. 45 elongate and feeble microsetae, ca. 26 marginal setae and 4 basal group macrosetae ( Fig 32 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Paramere elongate, sinuate, apex denticulate, with subapical setae and sensory pits ( Fig 33 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Aedeagus in ventral view slightly expanded near midlength, with subapical arc expanded, both expanded dorsad in lateral view, apex narrow in dorsal view; tapering in lateral view ( Figs 34, 35 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Anal tube process short, sinuate, apex acute, dorsal margins slightly irregular ( Fig 36 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ). Connective distinctly longer than wide, with V-shaped posterior emargination.
Etymology. The new species name alludes to the serrate pygofer appendage.
Remarks. The new speices is different from others in having the anal tube process short and broad with irregular margins ( Fig 36 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ); the aedeagus tapering in lateral view ( Fig 35 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ); and the pygofer appendage apically truncate and serrate ( Fig 31 View FIGURES 29 – 37 ).
