Diagnosis. Males of C. julie sp. nov. can be readily identified by the uniform ground colour of the FW with a lighter area on the anterior portion of the postmedial band. The male genitalia cannot be confused with any other congeneric species with respect to the posterior margin of the saccus being deeply concave mesally with two protrusions laterally. The edged valvae with an inner side ribbed are unique within the genus ( Pl. 17 View PLATE 17 : Fig. 4 View PLATE 1 ; see arrows).

Description. Male ( Pl. 7 View PLATE 7 : Figs 8–9 View PLATE 1 , Pl. 11 View PLATE 11 : Fig. 11 View PLATE 1 ). Forewing length: 19–25 mm, wingspan: 37–49 mm. Epiphysis present.

Male genitalia. ( Pl. 17 View PLATE 17 : Fig. 4 View PLATE 1 , Pl. 21 View PLATE 21 : Fig. 4 View PLATE 1 ). Tergal lobes crab claw-shaped, setose basally with a spiniform process mesally. Saccus U-shaped, posterior edge bilobed, and mesally concave. Tegumen slightly S-shaped. Pseudotegumen expanded antero-ventrally, reinforced and ribbed medially. Fultura inferior rectangular, bilobed dorsally, slightly constricted meso-laterally.

Female ( Pl. 7 View PLATE 7 : Fig. 10 View PLATE 1 ). Forewing length: 39 mm, wingspan: 77 mm. Epiphysis present.

Female genitalia. Not dissected.
