Platambus wulingshanensis Brancucci, 2005 View in CoL
( Figs. 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 View FIGURES 1 – 10 , 11, 13, 15 View FIGURES 11 – 16 )
Remarks. Dr. M. Wang collected a series of specimens of Dytiscidae during his trip to Hubei Province very similar to P. wulingshanensis , though the specimens collected in Hubei and Hunan (type locality of P. wulingshanensis ) have some differences in elytral markings and parameres. In the description of P. wulingshanensis, Brancucci (2005) figured the habitus, aedeagus in dorsal view and lateral view, and the parameres. We provide here some additional figures of the specimens of P. wulingshanensis collected in Hubei. Distribution. CHINA: Hunan (Type locality), Hubei.
Material Examined. 6 males, 3 females, CHINA: Hubei Province, Shennongjia Forest Distr., 900 m, 13 October 2004, leg. M. Wang.
