Tripteroides (Rachionotomyia) affinis ( Edwards, 1913) View in CoL

Distribution. Karnataka: Kundapur District. Mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Transient—Larvae only. Immature stages of this species might have been flushed into crabholes during heavy rains. Larvae are usually found in bamboo stumps, split bamboo, tree holes, bases of trees and coconut shells.

Distribution. Odisha: Bhadark District—Bhadark. Non-mangrove.

Habitat dependence. Transient—Adults only. The immature stages of this species might have been flushed into crabholes by heavy rains. They usually inhabit bamboo stumps, split bamboos, tree holes, bases of trees and coconut shells.
