Intermediate host: Lymnaea auricularia , Melanoides kainarensis ( Gastropoda: Lymnaeidae , Thiaridae ).

Cercarial morphotype group: brevifurcate.

Habitat: freshwater.

Definitive hosts: birds.

Localities: northwestern, northeastern, central, eastern and southern regions.
