Orphnephilina demandana Vaillant & Vinçon, 1988: 282 View in CoL . Type locality: Spain: Sierra de la Demanda, sud de la vallée d’Ebre , proche de la station de ski de Valdezcaray, 1900 m, affluent du rio Oja. ST 1 ♁, MNHN, ST 1 ♀ MZLS ( GBIFCH00597462 ) [on microscope slides].
Androprosopa demandana: Sinclair 1996:376 [new combination]; Wagner&Báez2002:78 [distribution];Wagner 2002: 56 [redescription, male and female terminalia, distribution]; Hancock 2016: 300 [distribution].
Notes. Vaillant & Vinçon (1988: 284) stated “ Holotypes ♁ et ♀ ” and we do not consider this a valid holotype designation and both are viewed as syntypes because more than one specimen is listed as the holotype (see ICZN (1999) Article 73.1.1) .
