Material examined. – 2 females, cl 17-19 mm, UR, Iloilo city market Panay Island , Philippines, 19 Aug.1985; 2 ovig., cl 12.5-17.5 mm, Philippines, coll. Takeda , 1985.
Remarks. – Macrobrachium weberi is characterized by the crested form of rostrum, the long carpus of the second pereiopod, which is distinctly longer than the palm, and the fingers which are covered by dense pubescence. This is the first record for Philippines.
Distribution. – New Guinea, Sulawesi and Philippines.
