Limnophora scotti Emden, 1959: 191 View in CoL .
Holotype male seen; both postpedicels missing.
Diagnosis. Mouth-margin very produced; prosternum broadened anteriorly and setulose; postsutural dorsocentrals 3; mid femur with two preapical setae; mid tibia with one posterior seta; lower katepisternal seta closer to the posterior one than to the anterior; costal spine indistinct; sternite 1 with one setula near each hind angle.
Notes. Easily recognized by the produced mouth-margin. Known only from the holotype male. It runs to couplet 47 in Emden’s (1951) key, but differs from L. melanota by the produced mouth-margin.
