Limnophora flavibasis Stein, 1906: 63 View in CoL .

Holotype male in ZMHU ( Pont and Werner 2006: 46; Pont 2013: 73); one male from Zimbabwe in BMNH .

Diagnosis. Presutural spots fused and extended anteriorly on to postpronotum to beyond the inner anterior seta; postsutural dorsocentrals 4; mid femur with 2 preapical setae; mid tibia with 2 posterior setae; costal spine not distinct; first abdominal segments yellow.

Notes. The extension of the presutural spot on to the postpronotal lobe easily differentiates this species from L. translucida Stein.
