Holotype male in BMSA.
Diagnosis. 2 pairs of reclinate orbital setae; fronto-orbital plate dark brown; frontal triangle short; postpronotal lobe and notopleuron light grey; haltere dark brown; legs dark brown; postsutural dorsocentrals 3; mid femur with 3 fine anterior setae on median third and 1 posterior preapical; acrostichal setulae in 3–4 irregular rows; costal spine not developed.
Notes. This runs in Emden’s (1951) key to couplet 3 and can be differentiated from L. pluripila by the dark dust on postpronotal lobe, notopleuron and anepisternum in that species. Male terminalia illustrated by Couri & Pont (2014: Figs 32–36 View FIGURES 25 – 40 ). Female unknown.
