Holotype male not seen (in NMSA).
Diagnosis. Arista with short hairs; dorsocentrals 2+3; katepisternals 1+2, arranged in an isosceles triangle; fore tibia without a posterior seta; mid femur with 1 preapical posterior seta; mid tibia with 1 median posterior seta. Cercal plate and surstylus as in Zielke (1971a: Fig. 5 View FIGURES 5 – 8 ).
