Chalcoscirtus yinae sp. nov. (Fig. 2)
Type material Holotype: ♀, Hengshan Mountain , Hunan Province, China, August 2, 1997, Xian-jin Peng .
Etymology: The specific name is a patronym in honour of Chang-min Yin.
Diagnosis: This new species is similar to C. infirmus (Simon, 1868) (Metzner, 1999:165, figs. 11a-i), but differs in: 1) the spermatheca longer than wide in the new species versus wider than long in the latter; 2) copulatory duct much shorter and straight in the new species versus twisted in the latter; 3) the marking on abdominal dorsum.
Description Female: TL 3.9, CL 1.8, CW 1.3, AL 2.1, AW1.6. AERW1.3, PERW 1.2, EL 0.8, Anterior four eyes separated with equidistance, the diameter of AME about twice that of ALE. PME located at the midpoint of PLE and ALE. Carapace dark brown with short white and long brown hairs, marginal and ocular area dark brown, behind of the posterior eye row are a pair of eyebrow-shaped black markings. Sternum oval, brown with grayish brown margin, hairs long and brown. Clypeus brown, with sparse long white hairs, CH about 1/4 diameter of AME. Chelicerae brown, 2 promarginal and 1 bigger retromarginal teeth. Endites and labium brown, distal area lightly colored with scopula. Palp and legs brown, both end of each segment with grayish black annulus. Legs have hairs and distal spines. Ventral of tibiae I and II with 3 pairs of long spines, ventral of metatarsi I and II with 2 pairs of long spines. Abdomen oval, dorsum light brown, covered with irregular black incline striae, anterior median area with a big lightly colored patch, behind it are 6 herring-bones. The venter grayish brown, with irregular black dot spots and incline striae. Spinnerets grayish black.
Distribution: China (Hunan).
