Chorotype. Type 3 (revised from 6 in Chandler et al. (2006)) [1.12 of Vigna Taglianti et al. (1999)]. Mostly Mediterranean but extending into central Europe and recently found to also occur in Sweden ( Kjaerandsen et al. 2007a).
Italian distribution. Northern mainland ( Kurina 2008) and Sardinia.
