Notes. As males of the allied species M. fungorum ( De Geer, 1776) have not been examined from Sardinia it is probable that all females of this complex from the island belong to M. perpallida . Specimens (5 ♂♂ and 8 ♀) from localities T1, T2 and T7 determined as M. fungorum before the recognition of M. perpallida have not been re-examined but are concluded to also belong to it.
