Distribution. Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Guyana, Suriname, French Guiana, Brazil (Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Maranhão), Peru, Bolivia. We add a new state record from Acre, Brazil.

Species diagnoses. This species is recognized by the lateral tubercles of prothorax blackish or dark reddish and conical, and apex of elytra unispinose (Martins 2005: 242, figs 195, 196).
