Notes: Hyde et al. (2018) reported Pleurotheciella tropica from decaying submerged wood in a freshwater stream of Bann Tom Thong Khang, Phang Nga Province, Thailand. It is characterized by solitary or no more than two fascicles, brown conidiophores and obovoid or subclavate, hyaline, guttulate, straight, uniseptate conidia.
