Description. ♂ ( Figs 22 D–F). Fully winged; body length 2.8 mm. Head black, except mandible, clypeus and region between and on sides of antennal toruli testaceous; eye testaceous-whitish; antenna testaceous; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 11:5:12:11:11:10:9:8: 7.5:10. Antennomere 9 more than 3 × as long as broad (8:2.4). Head dull, punctate, unsculptured among punctures; punctures very dense on frons; frons with track of complete frontal line; occipital carina complete; POL = 6.5; OL = 4; OOL = 9; OPL = 8; TL = 10. Pronotum very short, transverse, rugose. Mesoscutum and mesoscutellum shiny, smooth, punctate and unsculptured among punctures. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.6 × length of mesoscutum. Metanotum dull, reticulate rugose, with smooth and punctate central region. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (14:11). Genitalia in Fig. 29A . Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Type: ♂ holotype: SOUTH AFRICA: Western Cape, Cape Town, Tokai State Forest, Con- stantiaberge, above Donkerboskloof , 34°02’S 18°23.5’E, 460 m, 27.VIII–5.IX.1993, MT, Mesic mountain Fynbos on Sandstone , near stream, bracken present, SAM-HYM-P024852, S. van Noort leg. ( SAMC) .
