Description. ♀. Micropterous ( Figs 81C, D View FIGURE 81 , 84A View FIGURE 84 ); forewing very reduced, approximately as long as mesoscutel- lum, reaching transverse furrow behind mesoscutellum ( Fig. 84A View FIGURE 84 ). Body length 3.2–4.0 mm. Head black; mandible testaceous with teeth brown; malar space, clypeus and frontal longitudinal median area yellowish; occasionally only anterior margin of frons near clypeus yellowish (in specimen from South Africa, 31°20.602’S 19°11.695’E, head brown, except mandibles, area between toruli, stripes along orbits and frontal longitudinal median area yellowish); antenna brown, with scape and pedicel partly testaceous (in specimen from South Africa, 31°20.602’S 19°11.695’E, antenna brown, except scape, pedicel and flagellomeres 1–2 testaceous); mesosoma black, except posterior collar and lateral margins of pronotum testaceous (in specimen from South Africa, 31°20.602’S 19°11.695’E, pronotum, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum brown, except posterior collar of pronotum brown-yellowish); tegula testaceous; metasoma brown-reddish; legs brown, except trochanters, articulations and tarsi testaceous (in specimen from South Africa, 31°20.602’S 19°11.695’E, legs testaceous, except coxae and clubs of femora partly brown). Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 8:5:13:9:8:7:5:6:5:9. Head shiny, slightly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; occipital carina complete; usually with long longitudinal median furrow from anterior ocellus to clypeus (occasionally furrow reduced to small impression); POL = 3.5; OOL = 9; OPL = 5; TL = 8. Pronotum shiny, with lateral region slightly punctate; disc of pronotum very long and humped; posterior transversal impression separating pronotum disc from posterior collar narrower than disc; posterior margin of collar almost straight, reaching tegula, without posterior lobe directed towards tegula. Mesoscutum excavated, rugose, very reduced, approximately as long as posterior collar of pronotum. Mesoscutellum shiny, humped, unsculptured, approximately as long and as broad as mesoscutum. Metanotum not visible. Metapectal-propodeal disc humped, separated from mesoscutellum by deep transverse furrow (impression sculptured by transverse keels); metapectal-propodeal disc shiny, unsculptured; propodeal declivity dull, reticulate rugose. Meso-metapleural suture distinct, strong, complete. Mesopleuron and metapleuron dull, granulate, with slight transverse keels. Protarsomeres in following proportions: 9:2:5:12:21; protarsomere 2 produced into small hook. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 83D View FIGURE 83 ) with two bristles (one bristle in specimen from South Africa, 31°20.602’S 19°11.695’E) situated further distally than proximal prominence. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 83D View FIGURE 83 ) with one row of about 33 lamellae; apex with approximately three lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.
