Anteon rufonigrum Olmi 1984: 402 .

Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 3.6–4.4 mm. Head reddish, except wide brown-black spot on vertex; oc- casionally head black, except clypeus reddish; mandible testaceous; antenna testaceous; mesosoma of holotype reddish, except brown nuances on mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum and black metapectal-propodeal disc; occasionally mesoscutum, mesoscutellum, metanotum, mesopleuron and metapleuron completely black; metasoma brown-testaceous; tegula testaceous; legs testaceous.Antennomeres in following proportions: 16:7:8:6:6:7:8:7:7:10. Head dull, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line present; occipital carina complete; POL = 10; OL = 7; OOL = 6; OPL = 8; TL = 3. Pronotum setose, shiny, reticulate rugose; posterior surface shorter than mesoscutum (8:20); pronotal tubercle reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, granulate and reticulate rugose. Notauli absent. Mesoscutellum dull or shiny, slightly or strongly granulate, with some punctures. Metanotum reticulate rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc with strong transverse posterior keel, reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, with two longitudinal keels and median area as rugose as lateral areas. Forewing with one dark transverse band around 2r-rs&Rs vein; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much shorter than proximal part (5:11). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 12:2.5:3:4:14; protarsomere 4 produced into hook, approximately 0.3 as long as basal part of 5. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 67F View FIGURE 67 ) very long, longer than protarsomere 5, with proximal prominence bearing one long bristle. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 67F View FIGURE 67 ) with basal part much longer than apical part, with some bristles and 5–10 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Other material: SOUTH AFRICA: Eastern Cape, same locality label as holotype , 1♀ ( AMNH); Western Cape, Cape Town, above Tokai Forest, Constantiaberge , above Donkerboskloof , 34°02’S 18°23’E, 460 m, 25–31.VIII.1994, Mesic Mountain Fynbos, Protea coronata dominated, MT, S. van Noort leg. GoogleMaps , 1♀ ( SAMC) .
