Dryinus pretorianus Olmi 1984: 767 ; 2006: 42.

Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 6.2 mm. Head testaceous-reddish, with brown spot on frons; antenna brown, except scape and pedicel reddish and flagellomere 8 whitish; prothorax, mesoscutum and mesoscutellum reddish-dark; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma brown, except segment 1 partly reddish; legs testaceous, except chela and metatarsomere 2 and partly 3 whitish. Antenna clavate; antennomeres in following proportions: 9:7:49: 29:21:14:10:9:7:8. Head dull, flat, granulate; frontal line present; occipital carina complete; POL = 4.5; OL = 3.5; OOL = 11; OPL = 2; TL = 7; lateral ocelli situated behind virtual straight line joining posterior edges of eyes; posterior margin of vertex convex. Pronotum dull, setose, granulate, crossed by strong transverse impression; posterior collar long; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum dull, granulate, with numerous slight irregular keels. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.5 × length of mesoscutum. Metapectal-propodeal disc dull, reticulate rugose, with two median longitudinal keels; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose. Forewing with two dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (15:7). Protarsomeres in following proportions: 20:3.5:8:17:28. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 139E View FIGURE 139 ) with one subdistal tooth and one row of 10 lamellae. Protarsomere 5 ( Fig. 139E View FIGURE 139 ) with two rows of about 45 lamellae extending continuously to apex. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

♂. Fully winged; body length 2.4–2.6 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna black, except scape and pedicel testaceous; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except articulations and tarsi testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 4:4:10:8:8:8:8:6:6:8. Head dull, granulate, with some slight areolae on lateral regions; frontal line incomplete; occipital carina incomplete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 4; OPL = 1; TL = 3. Mesoscutum and mesoscutellum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.65 × length of mesoscutum. Metanotum dull, granulate, with numerous areolae near anterior margin. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose, without transverse posterior keel; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (9:7). Genitalia in Fig. 139F View FIGURE 139 . Hypopygium in Fig. 140A View FIGURE 140 . Material examined. Types: ♀ holotype: SOUTH AFRICA: Gauteng, Pretoria ( AEIC). Paratypes: same local- ity label as holotype , 2♂♂ ( AEIC) .
