Description. ♀. Fully winged; body length 3.4–5.0 mm. Head black, except mandible and partly clypeus yellow; propleuron black; pronotum black, except lateral margins and posterior collar reddish; rest of mesosoma black; metasoma black-brown; legs completely testaceous, or with coxae and clubs of femora brown. Antenna clavate; antennomeres of specimen from Aldabra, Takamaka Grove, in following proportions: 19:12:55:26:23:15:13:12:11:16. Head ( Fig. 135D View FIGURE 135 ) dull, flat, granulate; occipital carina complete; lateral ocelli not touching occipital carina; OPL shorter than OL; OL = POL; TL shorter than POL. Pronotum shiny, granulate, crossed by slight anterior transverse impression and strong posterior transverse furrow; anterior collar slight; posterior collar short; pronotal tubercle not reaching tegula. Mesoscutum dull, granulate. Notauli incomplete, approximately reaching 0.75 × length of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum as sculptured as mesoscutum. Metanotum rugose. Metapectal-propodeal disc reticulate rugose; propodeal declivity reticulate rugose, without longitudinal keels. Forewing with three dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein much longer than proximal part (11:5). Protarsomere 1 longer than 4 (12:9); protarsomere 3 produced into hook. Enlarged claw ( Fig. 135E View FIGURE 135 ) with one large subdistal tooth and one row of 10 lamellae. Protarso- mere 5 ( Fig. 135E View FIGURE 135 ) with two rows of about 20 lamellae; apex with approximately 11 lamellae. Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

♂. Fully winged; body length 2.0– 2.2 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna black; mesosoma and metasoma black; legs brown, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennomeres in following proportions: 6:5:9:7:7:7:6:5:5:7. Head dull, granulate and partly rugose; frontal line complete; occipital carina incomplete, laterally not reaching eyes and temple; POL = 5; OL = 2; OOL = 3.5; OPL = 0.5. Mesoscutum, mesoscutellum and metanotum granulate, slightly rugose. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.70–0.75 × length of mesoscutum. Metapectal-propodeal disc and propodeal declivity dull, reticulate rugose. Forewing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of 2r-rs&Rs vein longer than proximal part (9:7); 2R1 cell open. Genitalia in Fig. 137A View FIGURE 137 . Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Hutson leg. , 1♀, 1♂ ( NHMUK); South Island, Dune Jean–Louis , 1♀ ( NHMUK). MADAGASCAR: Antsiranana, Nosy Bé Island , 1♀ ( MRAC) .
